The Hillier-LaRose Foundation was established with the aim of creating public awareness about cancer treatment and in turn raise money to give back to those in need in the community. Since its inception, the foundation has provided more than half a million dollars in support of various charities.
The Hillier-LaRose Foundation sponsors addiction treatment for those who seek help, but cannot pay for it themselves. For the community at large, one notable success has been the founding of the Virginia Beach Recovery Club (VBRC) in 2008. The VBRC offers aid and support to those in recovery.
In the spirit of promoting physical, spiritual, and mental wellbeing, the Hillier-Larose Foundation sponsors the Wounded Warrior Scuba Certification Program. This program brings wounded service men and women who bravely defend our country’s freedoms together to learn to scuba dive for free.
